Note about Safety with Rope Halters. Rope halters should be used with caution. There is a correct way to fit and tie the halter onto the horse; please be sure you have the info you need to tie the correct knot. In addition, it can take some time for a horse to become accustomed to a halter, and especially a rope halter. A horse should NEVER be tied with a halter unless he/she has received the appropriate pre-requisite lessons. Lack of skills for being tied can result in life-threatening results for both the horse and the human. Significant damage and unwanted habits will be the direct result.
