H2H Level 1 Course

Level1skills

The FOUNDATION of your relationship, where you can develop a deeply seated emotional connection and clear understanding of your horse, while he can also gain confidence and clarity in the language you are presenting him. The stronger your FOUNDATION training is, the better horse he can be in the long run, and the better human you can be for him in turn! The FOUNDATION is where you learn about the individual horse you are working with and developing the language of ‘the horse’ so that you can use the language universally.

2010 Level 1 Program is based on a 3-Day Intensive Introductory

Each student and their horse are introduced to the routine of this Level. The skills can be mastered over a period of time, and goals can be set with the guidance of the instructor to help you reach your seasonal goals with the horse intended. With ample practice time, horses and humans from the Level 1 Course can be ready to sign up for the next Level (or set of challenges). While each Level focuses on a different area of the relationship, all students are guided with the needs of the individual partnership. Based on the skills of the horse and the human. It is recommended that if you have a horse that is more difficult than others, to consider supplemental lessons before attempting the next Level. The supplemental lessons can sometimes be the key for you and your horse to get past a difficult challenge in your relationship.

For those of you interested in adding to your experience, we invite you to use the H2H horses. If you are looking to get more experience with more horses, (which is sometimes the difference between being good and GREAT in your equestrian pursuit), or maybe you haven’t purchased a horse yet and want to get the feel for it before you make a decision— Level 1 is a great place to start!
